The Latinx/Chicanx Student Association (LCSA) hosted Sabor Latinx. The event was held in the Kirby Ballroom, with this being LCSA's first event of the year.
Advisor Susana Woodward stated, “This event started about 15 years ago, and the goal was to bring in students to eat and participate in a game to learn more about the culture.

Some games of these include pin the tail on the Axolotl, an amphibian found primarily in Mexico, match the Latin American country with the flag, and Balero, a traditional Ball and Cup game found in Mexico and other parts of Latin America.
Some food highlights include Steamed White Rice, Fiesta Black Beans, Chicken Tinga, Vegetables Fajitas, Tostada, and Plantain Con Lechera.
“I really thought those plantains were pretty good”, said Keys.
Student engagement was noticeable, with many getting accustomed to the games and even a Macarena line dance occurring.

I think this event will be the start of many great things to come through the year, said Avila.
“It was event-filled and a great time, and I hope people like it like I did”, said Lopez
LCSA will have more events in the year to come, which will aim to spread the Latin American culture throughout the University and the Duluth community
“I would like people to remember to learn about other cultures and to make sure they get to know each other”, said Woodrad.
