If you are looking for a way to get back on the field or stay active this semester, intramural sports might be the right play for you.

Intramural sports give students the opportunity to get involved with sports on campus no matter their ability. UMD promotes sportsmanship, relaxation and cooperation to ensure players have fun and are safe.

For just $20, you can participate in your favorite sport all semester. Indoor sports include flag football, soccer, kickball, dodgeball, volleyball and badminton. Outdoor sports include softball and outdoor flag football.

If you are wanting to experiment with a new sport, intramural sports allow you to join regardless of your skill level. This makes a low-stress environment to try a new sport and have a good competitive time.

There are a few ways to go about joining an intramural team. You can make your own team with other students or UMD will find a team for you.

Without the pressure of coaching, these sports allow you to improve your skills on your own terms.

Don’t strike out and miss this opportunity. To kick off your intramural career visit the UMD Intramural page
